Hi, I’m Rita,
an executive coach specialising in cultural awareness for business & education professionals
Throughout my career in a law firm working in Business Development and IT product management, I've collaborated with global teams particularly in India. These experiences have provided me with valuable insights into the dynamics of the corporate world and the challenges faced.
Transitioning into coaching, I completed my executive coach training at Henley Business School and went on to become certified in the ‘Cultural Orientation Framework’. I founded Ravelmind to weave my experience and knowledge and develop a coaching practice that supports individuals through their challenges and helps progress their lives.
The coaching world is vast, and my curiosity drives me to explore its many facets. I like to challenge perspectives and focus on what brings people together, not what divides them. I love being a coach. It gives me joy and is rewarding to see that I have made a difference.
My passion for exploring different cultures extends beyond my professional life. Travelling allows me to immerse myself with locals and have conversations that continue to expand my global perspective. It allows me to enrich my coaching practice and contribute to a holistic approach to supporting clients.
I believe that awareness of the people and the planet we live in strengthens our ability to connect and collaborate effectively.
Weaving Two Cultures
As someone who is bicultural, I understand what it’s like to live with different values and beliefs from two distinct cultures. Growing up with both British and Indian values, I see being bicultural as a great strength to understanding multiple perspectives, shaping my coaching and helping me connect deeper with people.
Going through life with the challenges of living between cultures has enabled me to see the challenges others face. I think it's important to recognise how interconnected we are and how we all co-exist with each other and the planet.
Everyone brings something unique and that’s what makes collaboration so powerful. I’m a life-long learner passionate about creating opportunities where we can all bring our skills forward and support each other no matter where we are from.
My Coaching Philosophy

My Coaching Philosophy *
As a coach, I am a facilitator, challenger, thinker, and observer who helps you join the dots, see the nuances, and explore the greater humanity that connects us.
I combine both traditional training and a flexible approach. Building upon my Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching at Henley Business School, I also adopt a fluid and dynamic style. Coaching is about creating a reflective space to have in-depth conversations that shift perspectives and lead to real growth and positive change.
My coaching is rooted in cultural awareness and I apply Prof Philippe Rosinski’s Cultural Orientations Framework (COF). This framework offers a structured approach to discussions about culture, making them less personal and more objective. It helps you understand how cultural dynamics impact communication and leadership, providing insights you can apply across any culture.
